The rules governing its organization and functioning were subject to several amendments, the most significant of which is that approved by the Corporate Registration Office through Resolution N 00052 of February 9, 1993.
The main purpose of the General Arbitration Tribunal consists in encouraging the use of mediation, conciliation and arbitration as expeditious and friendly means to settle controversies or disputes on property rights eligible for settlement. The Tribunal administers arbitrations under its Rules.
